About FCANZ

 Established in 2006, the Fencing Contractors Association of NZ (FCANZ) exists to support and advance fencing industry best practice.

An incorporated society, our membership is made up of more than 450 fencing contractors working across rural, residential and commercial projects around New Zealand. Their work is diverse, with many members undertaking a variety of projects from fence, deck, walkway and yard construction to the installation of horticulture and viticulture structures.

 

OUR MISSION

To raise the profile of fencing as a recognised trade that embraces best practice, adherence to quality standards and ongoing professional development.

 

We keep our members in touch with the latest fencing products, technical information, trends and developments, providing access to fencing best practice guidelines and business improvement resources. A variety of informative and networking events are held around the country throughout the year.

 

Our “in-the-field” events provide information about best-practice fencing techniques, new products, health and safety developments and technical information. The online Business Staples webinar series provides free-of-charge business skills sessions exclusively for members. Most events including our annual Conference, Best Practice Days and National Fencing Field Day are heavily subsidised for our members.

 

FCANZ firmly believe in partnership – working together with our Partners to support fencing industry excellence. We strategically partner with organisations that have an interest in supporting us in the delivery of our mission and strategic goals.
